Murphy, 548 U.S. 291 (2006)</b></a> An Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) provision that permits a court to "award reasonable attorneys' fees as part of the costs" to prevailing parents, does not authorize prevailing parents to recover expert fees.</li>
<li><a href="http://laws.lp.findlaw.com/us/000/03892.html"><b>Comm'r of Internal Revenue Serv. v. Banks, 543 U.S. 426 (2005)</b></a> In calculating federal income tax, when a litigant's recovery constitutes income, the litigant's income includes the portion of the recovery paid to the attorney as a contingent fee.</li>

Co., 127 S.Ct. 1199 (2007)</b></a> Federal bankruptcy law does not disallow contract-based claims for attorney's fees based solely on the fact that the fees were incurred litigating bankruptcy law issues.</li>
